Archimede Seguso Murano Glass Pair of Fruit Sculptures Polveri Series

Archimede Seguso matched pair of miniature fruit sculptures, apple and pear with profuse gold inclusions. They are part of the „Polveri“ series which incorporates pigment powder as coloring agent.

This technique was developed by Archimede Seguso in the early years of 1950 and due to its complexity it was produced for a brief period of time 1952 - 1953.
