TYRA LUNDGREN for Venini PAIR of Birds 1930s

$2,800.00

Charming pair of handblown translucent glass birds with iridescent finish by Tyra Lundgren. They were commissioned by Paolo Venini in the later years of 1930 as part of a nature inspired series of objects.

Dimensions are 5.75“ length, 4.75“ height, 3“ width with minimal differences as the birds are handblown.

There are scattered air bubbles within the wings which occurred during the glass making progress, these don’t affect the display and are mentioned for accuracy only.
